Saxophone Quartet.  He has held the following faculty positions: Saxophone lecturer at University of South. Florida and Lecturer of Clarinet/Saxophone at C.W. Post College.  He was Chairman of Music at Tampa Catholic High School and Co-Chairman of Fine Arts at Carey High School. He has been the conductor of the L.I. In 1980, Mr. Effman founded the PAUL EFFMAN MUSIC SERVICE.  He has always been of the belief that private education should not have a void in instrumental music and the Arts in general.  Currently under his direction, over 100 educators and administrators provide almost 16000 students in private education with band programs.  This service covers the tri-state area and goes north to Buffalo.  Also, many schools in Massachusetts and South Florida are served by Paul Effman Music Service.

Mr. Effman’s first exposure to music was listening to Benny Goodman & Artie Shaw in his childhood years. He recalls spending hours copying the clarinet solos on Big Band records.  This evening he wishes to share his early joy of music with all of you.
