Youth
Orchestra, CYCNY is pleased to announce its Annual Concert 2021 on Saturday,
June 12th at 1pm. The concert will be virtual online.

This concert originally was scheduled to be performed on the same date, June 12, 2021 at Lincoln Center, but since Alice Tully Hall of Lincoln Center is closed due to the pandemic since March of 2020.
This staff and members meet for weekly virtual rehearsals, for Fall Semester from September to December 2020, and for Spring Semester from January to June 2021.
A demo of each piece of music is produced by our musician/engineer, then we distributed to our members. Each member will do the pre-video and audio recording of each piece of music, according to the demo's rhythm and tempo for every piece on the program.
Then the musician/engineer will put them together. Some members could play not just one part, due to the performance is pre-recorded, some members, can play and record 2 or more parts, this could not happen if we do the physical concert.
Music Director Chijen Christopher Chung will lead 33 young musicians age 10-18, with faculty artists of Lovell Chang/Wind & Brass, ChiChing Grace Lin/Percussion and Yasuhiko Fukuoka/Music Engineer.
